Eukaryotes Journey

The LabLearner 5th-grade Journey, Eukaryotes, is intended to occur between the first two CELLs of the 5th-grade sequence, Microscopic Explorations and Inheritance and Adaptations. This Journey builds on the knowledge gained about lenses and microscopes, as well as the brief introduction to plant and animal cells, in Microscopic Explorations.

The more complex concepts of cell division introduced in Inheritance and Adaptations will benefit from the brief overview of the distinction between events that occur inside versus outside the nucleus that is discussed in this Journey.
