The LabLearner Lab: Real Science, Real Fun!
The LabLearner lab includes all furniture, science equipment, and storage to run your LabLearner program. The in-school laboratory with authentic science equipment and supplies is set up by LabLearner staff. LabLearner students use much of the same equipment used in university labs.
What’s the point of providing young students with authentic scientific supplies and equipment?
- The basic design of essential scientific materials does not change as one progresses to even the highest levels of research science.
- The basic design of essential scientific materials is exactly the same anywhere in the world.
- Therefore, once students learn to use authentic scientific materials (graduated cylinder, triple-beam balance or compound microscope, etc.) they will know how to use them throughout their education, even through university courses, anywhere on Earth!
Every LabLearner lab contains hundreds of different supplies, materials, and equipment selected for their quality and application to the LabLearner curriculum. Every item encountered in the curriculum is provided in the lab. Conversely, there is nothing in the LabLearner lab that is not used in the curriculum. Teachers need never search through useless or irrelevant supplies to find what they need. Everything in the lab is neatly organized and easy to find – in the exact numbers/amounts needed – year after year.
