Tuning Fork Use and Operation

1. Hold the tuning fork at the handle, not by the prongs.

2. Strike the fork on the black rubber stopper or metal cube. Never bang on a desk or floor.

3. A rubber stopper or metal cube may be placed on the desk or in the hand for striking.

4. Allow the fork to “bounce back” after striking it.
